Zoobug launches 2012 Optical Collection
Spring 2012 sees the launch of a cute and colourful retro-inspired optical collection by British kid’s brand Zoobug. Featuring a broad choice of adorable metal and acetate designs, with lots of cool, classic shapes and some exciting new editions, the latest Zoobug optical collection focuses on offering plenty of choice in terms of size and fashion styling for all kids of 2-12 years old.
Pulling inspiration from vintage themes in the grown-up collections, whilst preserving the brand’s commitment to quality and innovative, child-friendly design, the frames boast Zoobug’s hallmark comfort features and fashion-forward details.
Available in beautiful multi-coloured combinations, the range includes some favourite on-trend colourways, including tone-on-tone purple, bold blue and vibrant green. Pattern and decorations are introduced in some styles, in the form of cool stripes or marbling for boys and laser engraving and crystals for girls. All the frames feature the Zoobug logo on one inside end tip and the new inlaid metal logo on the temple.
Julie Diem Le, Director of Zoobug says: “ The frames in my new optical collection are inspired by the vintage trend, but I have interpreted them so the shapes are perfectly adapted to small faces. DAISY
Zoobug’s statement shape for girls, model Daisy, is issued in new vibrant jewel tones, and sizes 40-17 and 43-17. The acetate has been cut to make this style even more funand quirky, but it is still just as wearable. Choose from pale pink, purple, raspberry or red.

HARLEY
A round metal frame, one of our all-time favourites. A trendy yet wearable classic, the new colours offered for 2012 include blue, brown, pink and turquoise. Sizes 40-18 and 43-18.


HERO
A fresh, square unisex design – the perfect blend of vintage and contemporary, designed in some exciting colours - punchy red, this season’s trendy bright blue, classic black/white, or elegant grey. Offered in sizes 40-16 and 43-16.
OLLIE
A trendy, round acetate, one of the most desirable shapes in 2012. This is the ultimate mini-me fashion statement for boys or girls. In sizes 42-21 and 44-21, the four colourways are marbled navy, black/red, pale blue/black or dark tortoise.

RAZZLE
A super new girl’s design with laser engraving and crystal details for those who love decoration. A playful, feminine, must-have style, reminiscent of the catseye, offered in sizes 43-17 and 46-17. Colours offered are pale pink, purple, red and brown.

STOMP
A new addition to the optical collection, Stomp is a boy’s frame which evokes a retro feel. Offered in four colours: green, blue, red and beige, this smart acetate model has stylish stripes on the temples. Available in sizes 43-16 and 46-16.
